How much checked baggage can I book?
You can pre-book checked baggage in one of three total weight options:

• 20 kg, 30 kg, or 40 kg, with a maximum of 2 pieces per passenger. If you split your allowance into two bags, each bag must not exceed 32 kg.
• Availability and fees can vary by route.

 
Can I buy checked baggage at the airport?
Yes, but only limited weight options may be available at the airport, and prices are typically higher. For better value, pre-book online, via the call center, or at a sales office.
 
What is the maximum size and weight for each checked bag?
Each checked bag must not exceed 32 kg and 158 cm (62 inches) in total dimensions (length + width + height).
 
Are there any restrictions on the type of baggage I can check in?
Yes. Carton boxes are not allowed as checked baggage on flights to Bangladesh (effective August 1, 2023). Also, irregular-shaped baggage that cannot be safely transported may not be accepted.
 
Can I check in a TV or large electronic item?
Yes. TVs 40 inches and above incur a charge of AED 150 plus a handling fee (per item). The maximum allowed TV size is 60 inches, subject to acceptance and proper packaging.
